BOOK RAPTORS KNOLL
Booking Events at Raptors Knoll Disc Golf Park
The Jackman Wetlands Disc Golf Society manages all events at Raptors Knoll Disc Golf Park under a land-use agreement with the Township of Langley. Fees collected from events help cover the costs of maintaining and continuing to improve the course and the associated amenities. Requests to use the course for events continues to increase each year and the Society has established the following process to request a reservation.
As a public park, the Society will not normally permit more than 3 weekend days to be booked in the same month. Back-to-back weekend closures will not normally be permitted between June 1 and Sept 30 with some exceptions granted for high priority events like the BC Open. Similarly, specific groups, will not normally be permitted to reserve the course for more than four weekend days in a year. RK Club member events are exempt from this guideline.
The Society has established a priority system for approving requests. Once events are approved, the Society will notify the Township of Langley, so the event is added to their master schedule.

Additional Considerations:
-
Other factors may also be considered such as the number of expected participants, uniqueness of event, etc.
-
Events that occur in the first three months of the year may be approved prior to the approval decision dates for that type of event.
-
Reservations can be secured for blocks of tee times or for shotgun start events.
-
Customized layouts (temporary teepad, new basket locations, changes to OB/Mando rules, etc) require prior approval.
-
Organizers of large events should be experienced TDs.
-
Event organizers are responsible for leaving the course/pavilion in pre-event condition including no garbage/recyclable goods left behind outside of garbage cans. The vehicle gate near the pavilion, and seacan must be left locked prior to the organizers leaving unless other arrangements have been made.
-
All organized events at the park must be preapproved by the board of the Society including events such as leagues and clinics that do not require reserved play.
-
Events at Raptors Knoll are a reflection on the club, the Society, and our sport, therefore, all events must reflect positively on the club, the Society, the township, and the sport.
-
All events must comply with Township of Langley Park usage guidelines and Township bylaws.
