This disc golf park was built by volunteers with generous financial support from an initial group of 55 founding members, eighteen hole sponsors, and a large number of corporate donations including The Township of Langley, Operators Training School, and LafargeHolcim.  In the summer of 2020, the JWDGS received a grant in the amount of $70,000 from the Co-op Community Spaces Funding Program to fund a post and timber pavilion was built by Artisan Log and Timber Homes in early 2021.
